MEET THE BUILDER


My name is Todd Ewart, founder and president. I created Bungalow Designs Inc in early 2005 to spread my vision of how the bungalow and craftsman genre should be revived in the Charlotte area. My experience in the home building industry stems from 8 years in the construction sales industry. Collaborating with builders, architects, and designers on product usage and construction practices gave me extensive knowledge of the industry. In working with those builders' homeowners to implement those ideas to enhance their construction experience, I noticed somewhat of a void or strain in the builder client relationship.

My vision is to provide you with the best possible experience that you could have while building the type of quality product that any and all would be proud to call home. This relationship is very much like a marriage experiencing ups and downs and is based upon one of the biggest financial and emotional investments that one can make.
